Type ~ 1 hour Review from the Lab Manual, Exercise 26 pages 420–421. 1.0 — Review pages 4-7 of the laboratory packet. 1.1 — Pick up needed blood typing supplies from your instructor including: lancet blood typing card or tray alcohol wipes gauze pads reagents (anti-A, anti-B, anti-D antibodies) mixing rods disposable gloves 1.2 — Read through the entire laboratory packet and ask for clarification from your laboratory instructor. 1.3 — Complete the blood typing on your blood. Ask for clarification from your laboratory instructor if the agglutination reactions are unclear for the samples. 1.4 — Dispose of all medical wastes in an appropriate fashion as instructed by your instructor. 1.5 — Complete the results section in terms of blood typing on yourself and three classmates on the ‘Results’ page of the laboratory packet. LABORATORY STEPS PART B: Step 2: Critical Analysis – completed by all students individually ~ 1 hour 2.0 — Read through the questions on page 8 and complete all genetic analyses using a Punnett Square technique.
